Physical Fitness Unit Stations
1. Weight Room
2. Steppers
2. Steppers: Hold handle, step on the peddles, alternating up and down simulating walking stairs.
3. Air O Fit
3. Air O Fit: Hold handles, step on one foot at a time. Simulates cross country skiing, working in opposition.
4. Limbo
4. Limbo: Set bar high to start. Continue lower with every successful limbo with out touching floor or bar with any part of your body.
5. Cardio Fit Riders
5. Cardio Fit Riders: Sit on the seat, hold the handle. If feet on bottom pegs, works legs. If feet on top pegs, works upper body.
6. Exercise Bands
Exercise Bands: Use the sheets on the door to complete various exercises (curls, sit ups, press).
7. Nordic Trac
7. Nordic Trac: Put feet on the slide, use opposition with feet , sliding forward and back. Use the handles for balance or may attempt to hold and pull the handles in opposition.
8. Exercise Ball
8. Exercise Ball: Participate in various exercises on the wall chart. (pushups with feet on ball, arch over the ball/trunk extensions, wall squats).
9. Exercise Bike
9. Exercise Bike: Ride bike with two feet on the pedals, holding the handle bars. Pace yourself to ride for the required station time (usually 3-4 minutes).
10. Medicine Ball
10. Medicine Ball: Weighted ball, used for throwing, partner sit up toss,
11. Exercise Dice
11. Exercise Dice: One set has exercises, the other the number to complete. Complete exercises as a group, not just one at a time!!!
